Cassion Castle Architects is an award-winning multi-disciplinary architectural practice based in North London. Led by Cassion Castle, we have worked for private and commercial clients across a number of sectors including residential, leisure and education.
Our aim is to create architecture which is both user-friendly and conceptually rigorous. We produce a bespoke response to each commission which then represents our clients as much as it does us. Our work is varied as a result of the commissions that we receive. Over the last two years we have worked on a new premises for Triyoga in North London, a barn in the grounds of a Grade II listed country house in Hampshire, a beach house on the South coast, a photographer's studio in East London, a large family house within a five acre plot in Suffolk, and the London apartment of a well-known fashion photographer.
The office is unusual in that it also undertakes the role of contractor on many of its design projects. Working as both architect and builder has given us a unique insight into the construction process allowing us to continuously produce more buildable and cost effective solutions for clients.
The practice has won several awards and been nominated or shortlisted for many more. We have also been featured in books, magazines and national broadsheets, gaining a reputation for creating beautiful buildings and spaces in a range of locations, from tiny urban plots to rural green-field sites.
Cassion Castle began his training as an architect at Cambridge University, before completing a Masters degree at the Royal College Of Art. Prior to establishing his own practice he worked for various architectural offices including Florian Beigel's Architecture Research Unit.
